Patient Resources

The health and safety of our patients, families and staff is our top priority. We are taking a comprehensive approach to prevent the spread of infectious diseases while we continue to provide the expert Lung care our patients need with both Virtual Visits and in-person appointments. Learn more about our Safe Care Commitment and the measures we are taking to provide the safest possible environment.

We understand that it is not enough to treat a disease or condition without also considering all aspects of our patients' lives. At The Lung Center (among the top ranked in the country by U.S. News & World Report), we integrate the needs and perspectives of patients and their caregivers directly into our care plans. We offer a variety of resources to help both new and established patients prepare for a visit with us.

Patient navigators in The Lung Center are trained professionals who are available to work with patients and families. They can assist in orienting you to the hospital, inform you about diagnostic testing, interventional procedures and surgery, and, when necessary, accompany you to appointments. Patient navigators also follow-up with patients after they have returned home to ensure that the next phase of recovery is successful.

If you are a new patient, please bring the following to your appointment:

  • Copies of Imaging CDs/Films, Related Test Results, and Office Notes Completed at Outside Facilities
  • Insurance Card and Referral
  • Co-payment

If this is a follow-up visit, please bring the following to your appointment:

  • Co-payment
